A Truly Positive Experience!
I can't thank this dental office enough! From my very first visit with the hygienist to my most recent appointment, every interaction has been absolutely delightful. I've already raved about my experience to several people.
I was particularly impressed with how smoothly everything went. I genuinely felt **no pain**, even after the Novocain wore off, which was a huge relief. My only "challenge" now is remembering to chew on my right side because my treated left side feels so incredibly normal!

Ended up breaking my tooth in a skateboard accident. Dr. Brand saw me that day. She capped the tooth and it looks like nothing happened. I tell people I broke a tooth and show the repair and they are always amazed by how normal it looks (down to the slight yellowing to match my natural teeth). Would highly recommend for cosmetic dental procedures.
Dr Brand is amazing. We travel from the far suburbs to see her. She is kind, patient and down to earth. Listens to our concerns and is an excellent dentist. She is a perfectionist in her work, which is exactly what we want with our oral care.

Highly recommend. been going to Dr. Brand and Premier Dentistry for years, and they are the best dental practice I've ever been to. Dental pain can come from several sources, and the intensity alone does not identify the cause. A problem that initially appears mild may still need attention, especially when symptoms persist, return repeatedly, or follow an injury. Changes such as swelling, a bad taste, drainage, or pain when biting are useful to report. Avoid repeatedly pressing on the area or testing the tooth with hard foods.
Call 911 or seek emergency medical care for difficulty breathing or swallowing, rapidly spreading facial or neck swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious facial injury. Dental symptoms accompanied by fever or feeling significantly unwell need urgent assessment. If the dental office cannot be reached, seek an appropriate urgent medical service for these symptoms.
Persistent or spontaneous toothache
Pain that starts without a clear trigger, wakes you at night, or lingers after temperature exposure deserves a dental assessment. Write down its pattern and any medicines taken, including how much relief they provided and how long that relief lasted.
Swelling can indicate infection or another condition requiring prompt attention. Report its location, how quickly it developed, and any fever or difficulty opening your mouth. Do not try to puncture or drain a swollen area yourself.
A tooth may be chipped, displaced, loose, or completely knocked out after an accident. Note the time of injury and whether your bite feels different. A knocked-out permanent tooth requires immediate dental attention because time can affect the chance of saving it.

Gently rinse your mouth with warm water and keep the area clean without aggressive brushing or probing. When food seems trapped between teeth, careful flossing may help; stop if it worsens pain or catches on damaged dental work.
For swelling after an injury, a cold compress against the outside of the cheek may provide temporary comfort. Wrap the cold source in a cloth and use it for short intervals. Do not apply heat to a swollen area or place aspirin directly against a tooth or gum. Household glue, sharp instruments, and attempts to reshape a tooth can cause additional injury.
If you normally can take an over-the-counter pain medicine, follow the package directions and consider your health conditions, allergies, and other medicines. Ask a pharmacist or clinician if you are unsure what is appropriate. Do not exceed the labeled dose or combine products containing the same active ingredient. Continue arranging dental assessment even if medicine temporarily reduces the discomfort.
